You switch the alert on for your stock and pick your percentage. It counts from the price at that moment and then from each notification. The message gives the full move. Prices come in every 15 minutes, delayed by about 15 minutes.

You decide how closely the alert catches up
Pick one value for both directions or two different ones. You see in advance the price at which the alert goes off. A small upward value keeps the lower limit close. It also means more notifications: at 2%, the alert goes off after every 2% rise, for each stock.

If the stock rises to €102.00, the alert goes off. That price then becomes the starting point. Both limits move with it:

Where your data lives
Your portfolio, your watchlist and your alerts sit on our own server in Germany. That server also checks whether one of your limits has been reached. The price data provider only ever gets the identifier of a security.
